Bill was born and raised on the outskirts of Toronto, in Agincourt, Ontario. Before going into the ordained ministry, Bill was a Civil Draughtsman and Industrial Photographer. Bill studied for ministry using an ‘apprenticeship model of pastoral training’ at the Lutheran Theological Seminary Saskatoon and graduated from Waterloo Lutheran Seminary. During that time he also studied at Concordia College in Edmonton and Newman Theological Seminary just outside of Edmonton. He did his ‘Clinical Pastoral Education’ at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, and two years of internship at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Edmonton. Bill is in his 19th year of ordained ministry. He left the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada in January of 2007 and received his credentials from the International Ministerial Fellowship; he was ordained on May 27, 2007.
Bill is married to Pauline, who co-ministers with him and they have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. |

Pauline was born and raised in Sydney, on the beautiful island of Cape Breton. Her career background is in community development, and she worked in that field both in Saskatchewan and Ontario. After several years of squeezing in courses and study, Pauline finally received her credentials from the International Ministerial Fellowship and was ordained on May 27, 2007 here in Kenora. Besides her pastoral commitment, Pauline is the Regional Coordinator for the Palliative Care Volunteer Program for the Kenora-Rainy River Districts in Northwestern Ontario. |
